Christo Iliev, accompanied by his sons Theodor and Peter took part today in the UBB NextGEN Academy, organised by UBB and KBC Bank for second generation entrepreneurs – representatives and future successors of some of the most prominent family businesses in Bulgaria.
Christo Iliev made a keynote presentation in the opening Strategies for Growth and Expansion module this morning, where he talked about AG Capital’s exciting journey over the past 30 years and also shared valuable advice with the next generation of young entrepreneurs.
He spoke on the importance of vision and perspective each entrepreneur should have. “It is said that people are most happy when they focus on the present. But I always tend to look ahead to what the future holds. This is my way to success and happiness”, said Mr. Iliev.
Christo Iliev’s elder sons have key roles at AG Capital and have also founded their own business projects. The youngest, Christian, is still studying and is soon to follow his brothers on the entrepreneurship pathway.
The UBB NextGEN Academy 2023 is the first edition of an educational programme aimed at young family business leaders organised in 5 modules, scheduled to run from March through June 2023. As part of UBB’s “Generation of Success” family business project, the format has also been designed to create a community for sharing experience, ideas and best practices between participants with similar interests.
